The Los Angeles Chargers (0-4) host the Denver Broncos (2-2) at SoFi Stadium on Sunday, October 11 (1:05 PM PT, CBS) in an AFC West game that is close to a must-win for Los Angeles. Coming off a loss at Seattle, the Chargers will be without wide receivers Quentin Johnston (chest) and Brenen Thompson (quad). Ladd McConkey (foot) is questionable after missing practice all week, and tight end Charlie Kolar (forearm) is also questionable. The offensive line is in worse shape. Rashawn Slater went on injured reserve Friday and Joe Alt (neck) is out, so Justin Herbert will be protected by inexperienced tackles against Nik Bonitto and the Broncos’ pass rush. Safety Derwin James and cornerback Donte Jackson are also out with hamstring injuries.
