Description
Breast Cancer Awareness Month may be wrapping up, but it has always been so much more than just wearing pink.
Breast cancer can affect anyone. Many factors such as genetics, environmental exposure, age, diet and exercise, and dense breast tissue impact your individual risk. While prevention strategies vary based on individual risk, healthy habits like balanced nutrition, regular physical activity, and stress management benefit everyone. When prevention isn’t possible, early detection is key. Catching cancer early often leads to better outcomes.
So, this month instead of just wearing pink, have a conversation, learn more about your risk, and get connected with appropriate screenings such as self-exams, mammograms, and MRIs depending on your risk and medical history.
