Description

State Rep. Willy Chotzen, D-Portland, one of the chief sponsors of House Bill 2677, said only 3% to 7% of those now eligible ask to remove their juvenile records from the court system.

Few Oregonians seek to erase their juvenile criminal records, so lawmakers should pass a bill to make such expungements easier, proponents said Tuesday.
