House Bill 4079 would require all public schools and universities to notify students, families and staff if federal immigration agents are on campus.

Dibartolomeo (56) On February 24th, 2026, Officers from the Bandon Police Department and Deputy S. Converse were dispatched to a residence on Beach Loop Road, South of Bandon, to a report of a violation of a restraining order in progress. Upon arrival, Dominic Dibartolomeo (56) was located on the property in violation of his restraining order and taken into custody. Mr. Dibartolomeo was transported to the Coos County Jail. “Police action is not indicative of guilt. All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.”
