Description
🐾 Big Reveal Time! 🐾
It looks like the cat’s already partially out of the bag… so let’s spill it completely. Surprise! It’s not a cat at all—it’s a dog! 🎉
Meet K-9 Drea, Tualatin PD’s newest drug detection dog! 🐶✨
Drea is an 11-month-old Springer Spaniel who just joined us from Golden Gate K9 in California. She’s trained to detect methamphetamine, fentanyl, cocaine, and heroin, and she’s already making a great impression with her smarts and energy.
Over the next few months, Drea will be working toward certification through the Oregon Police Canine Association, and when she’s ready, she’ll begin full-time detection work with her handler, Officer Sam Radakovich.
Help us give a warm welcome to K-9 Drea—we’re thrilled to have her as the newest member of our public safety family! 💙🐾
