Hi Everyone,
-1st Quarter is almost over. Get your assignments and work turned in so that your quarter grades reflect what you've done....
-There is no school this Friday. There is also no school next Monday.
-Play tryouts for "Crossing Over" are today and tomorrow from 4:00-5:00 in room 101.
-Don't forget to dress up on Halloween. Make sure it is school appropriate. The grade level with the highest participation rate will win a prize.
-The 10% off early ordering rate for yearbooks will end on the 31st. Make sure to get your yearbook ordered today.
-Look around the halls and classrooms for skulls, bats, and spiders with a Halloween riddle. If you happen to find one, take it to Ms. Pollett in room 206.
-Wellness tip of the week:
Get some sleep. It is easier said than done, but sleep deprivation is detrimental to your thinking, and physical and emotional state. Most teens need between 8 - 9 1/2 hours of restful sleep to function at their best. It's not easy fitting it into a schedule filled with academics, social and recreational activities, and work, but it sure has a big payoff. With a regular sleep/wake schedule, you will generally find that your circadian rhythm will remember when to fall asleep and wake up.
