Beyond Fast, a book about how a renegade coach and his unlikely high school team revolutionized distance running.

This weekend, American distance runner Nico Young is among the favorites to win the 10,000 meters at track and field’s world championships, in Tokyo. Before Young became one of the fastest distance runners in U.S. history, he helped transform California’s Newbury Park High School from a school with little history of running success into a dynasty.
