Oregon State guard Damarco Minor (#0) scores on a fast break as the Beavers face the Oregon Ducks in a men’s college basketball game on Thursday, Nov. 21, 2024, at Gill Coliseum in Corvallis.

Decimated by the transfer portal and carrying just eight scholarship players on its roster, Oregon State men’s basketball came up just short, losing 76-75 to UCF on Tuesday in the first round of the College Basketball Crown tournament in Las Vegas.
