During a 2 1/2-hour meeting, real estate leaders aired concerns about high taxes and downtown safety and suggested extending downtown tax breaks.

Growing jobs and incomes are two keys to luring housing investors back to Portland, real estate leaders told Gov. Tina Kotek and Mayor Keith Wilson on Thursday during a closed-door summit.
