Naomi Briggs, 16, was wounded in a shooting early Thursday in the 9500 block of Southwest Prairie Terrace in Beaverton. She texted her mother she was shot just before 5 a.m.

Naomi Briggs recently celebrated her 16th birthday. On Thursday, she texted her mother just before 5 a.m. with a chilling plea: “I got shot. Mama. Plz. Help me.”
