OSU release - LAS VEGAS, Nev. – Maximo Renteria finished second to lead the Oregon State wrestling team at the 43rd Annual Cliff Keen Invitational Saturday afternoon at the Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino. Renteria was one of three Beavers to place in the top six Saturday. He was joined by Justin Rademacher, who took third at 197, and Nash Singleton, who placed sixth at 141. Renteria went 4-1 at the 125-pount weight class and squared off with West Virginia's Jett Strickenberger for the title. Renteria came up just short in an 8-6 loss. Renteria is now 12-1 on the year. Rademacher claimed the third-place spot at 197 thanks to a 9-6 sudden victory win over Oklahoma's Deanthony Parker Jr. It was his second win over Parker in Vegas, and helped the Beaver 197-pounder to a 4-1 record at the Cliff Keen. He is 14-1 on the year. Singleton ended his trip with a 3-3 record and sixth-place finish. He is now 8-5 on the year. The Beavers, as a team, finished in a tie for 10th with 56 points.
