The National Weather Service issued a beach hazards statement at 3:07 a.m. on Saturday valid from Monday 5 p.m. until Tuesday noon for South Central Oregon Coast and Curry County Coast.
"A moderate risk of sneaker waves," can be anticipated according to the weather service. "The risk will be highest on west facing beaches, especially early Tuesday morning. Though a comparatively lesser risk, awareness is also warranted for this afternoon and evening with a slight risk of sneaker waves."
