Description

The National Weather Service issued a beach hazards statement at 3:01 p.m. on Thursday valid from Friday noon until Saturday noon for South Central Oregon Coast and Curry County Coast.

“A moderate risk of sneaker waves,” can be anticipated according to the weather service. “The risk of sneaker waves will peak during Friday evening, but seas will continue to build through Saturday morning. After brief improvement Saturday night, hazardous conditions due to high surf are possible late Sunday into early Monday.”
