Description

On Friday at 1:48 p.m. the National Weather Service released a beach hazards statement valid from Saturday 4 a.m. until Monday 4 p.m. for Clatsop County Coast, Tillamook County Coast and Central Coast of Oregon.

"Sneaker waves possible," comments the weather service. "Keep children and pets away from the surf zone. Keep off of jetties, rocks and logs near the surf zone. If you see someone swept into the sea do not swim in after them. Call 911 and keep an eye on them until help arrives."
