🌊 Stormy Weather & Dangerous Surf Expected 🌬️
đź“… Thursday through Sunday
A series of storms will bring gusty south winds and hazardous seas starting Thursday and again on Saturday. These systems will be accompanied by long-period west to northwest swells ranging from 15–24 feet, leading to breaking waves of 20–28 feet in the surf zone.
⚠️ Key Hazards:
• Dangerous surf conditions through the weekend
• Increased risk of sneaker waves, especially before the storms and between high surf periods
• Waves may wash over rocks, jetties, and into normally dry areas
• Potential for beach erosion
đźš« If you're planning a beach visit this weekend, please use extreme caution keep a safe distance from the surf, never turn your back on the ocean, and avoid climbing on jetties or driftwood.
