Description
Wednesday is the first day that ballots can be mailed to Oregon voters for next month’s special election.
Oregonians had until Tuesday to register to vote or change their registration before the November special election.
According to the Secretary of State’s office, 17 of the state’s 36 counties are holding elections Tuesday, Nov. 4. The off-year election is typically a slow one. But there are some school bonds and local option levies on ballots.
In Portland, voters will decide on whether to renew and increase a levy for the parks bureau. Washington County voters will decide on an increase to the area’s library levy.
