The Northwest ICE Processing Center in Tacoma, which is one of the largest immigrant detention facilities in the western U.S. Immigration attorneys across Oregon, Idaho and Alaska are scrambling to appear in person at the Tacoma Immigration Court to represent their clients after the court blocked remote appearances, attorneys said.

Immigration attorneys across Oregon, Idaho and Alaska are scrambling to appear in person at the Tacoma Immigration Court after judges in mid-August stopped allowing them to appear remotely on behalf of clients detained at the regional detention center, attorneys said.
