Ritz-Carlton Portland executive chef Jack Strong and Bellpine restaurant chef de cuisine Jocelyn Chacón.

Jack Strong, a longtime luxury resort chef and member of the Confederated Tribes of Siletz Indians known for his work highlighting Native foods, has taken over as the executive chef at the Ritz-Carlton Portland. There he joins Jocelyn Chacón, the Mexico-born, Texas-trained chef de cuisine at Bellpine, the hotel’s upscale 20th-floor restaurant.
