I love these people and feel like I have to start going to their gigs. I can tell them how great they sounded. And I know the whole time I will be wishing I was home. Getty Images

Dear Eric: Since retiring, some friends have put together a band. I went to one of their gigs a couple years ago, and recently a practice session.

Learn about these topics with entrepreneur Gaetano Lococo on Monday, June 9 from 6-7:30 p.m. at the Coos Bay Public Library. Mr. Lococo will present an informative lecture with time for questions at the end. Need more space to work on a craft project? Want to craft with others? Bring your project to the teen and adult crafternoon at the Library from 3-5 p.m. on June 10. Enjoy socializing while you work on your project or color one of the provided coloring pages.
