The Bench Fire on the Warm Springs Indian Reservation continued to burn on Thursday, July 30, 2026.

Twenty-five miles up a winding, bumpy, access road off Tenino Road on the Warm Springs Indian Reservation, there are no street names, no signs, no cell service — just towering ponderosa pines, the occasional loose horse or cow and miles of dirt road.
