An air stagnation advisory was issued by the National Weather Service on Thursday at 4:34 a.m. in effect until Friday at noon for South Central Oregon Coast, Central Douglas County, Eastern Curry County and Josephine County, Eastern Douglas County Foothills, Klamath Basin, Northern and Eastern Klamath County and Western Lake County and Central and Eastern Lake County as well as Jackson County.

The weather service says, "Poor air quality will continue. This is due to an inversion and stagnant air conditions near the surface that will continue to trap pollutants."
