On Thursday at 12:48 a.m. the National Weather Service issued an air stagnation advisory in effect until Friday at noon for Klamath Basin, Northern and Eastern Klamath County and Western Lake County and Central and Eastern Lake County.
The weather service says, "Strong valley inversions will result in weak winds, poor mixing and ventilation. This will result in stagnant air conditions that will trap pollutants near the surface."
