DEQ and partner agencies will continue to monitor smoke in the area.  DEQ expects intermittent smoke in the eastern Clackamas, Deschutes, and Wheeler counties until at least Friday afternoon, Aug. 28, 2026.  Smoke levels can change rapidly depending on weather.
