DEQ release - Location: Baker, Crook, Gilliam, Grant, Harney, Jefferson, Malheur, Morrow, Umatilla, Union, Wallowa, Wasco and Wheeler counties.  End date: Until further notice.  Smoke source: Multiple wildfires in Southern, Central and Eastern Oregon.  The Oregon Department of Environmental Quality issued an air quality advisory Monday, July 27, 2026, for Baker, Crook, Gilliam, Grant, Harney, Jefferson, Malheur, Morrow, Umatilla, Union, Wallowa, Wasco, Wheeler counties due to smoke from Southern, Central and Eastern Oregon.  DEQ expects the air quality advisory to last until further notice. DEQ and partner agencies will continue to monitor smoke in the area.  DEQ expects intermittent smoke in Deschutes, Eastern Douglas, Hood River, northern Jackson, northern Klamath, Lake and Sherman counties.
