Lane County Sheriff’s deputies assigned to Police Services must complete Patrol Field Training and Evaluation Process (FTEP). Completing Police Services FTEP is no easy task, it requires a tireless commitment. Deputies must rotate between shifts often working long past their normal secure time. They adapt to different day off patterns and move between coaches in order to gain the knowledge required to be successful.
