Description

A 2023 Google Maps photo shows no median barrier and a barely visible rumble strip in the middle of U.S. 26. It's unclear what condition the rumble strip was in at the time of the May 2025 crash.

The family of a 59-year-old woman who died when an oncoming driver crashed head-on into the car she and her family were traveling in has filed a $111 million lawsuit against both the driver and the Oregon Department of Transportation.
