Description

Patricia Ann Moore-Slater, 55, has been homelessness on and off since she was 5 years old. She lived in pod 81 at Reedway Safe Rest Village for more than two years. When the shelter's closure was announced this summer, she moved into a motel shelter.

Editor’s note: By the end of the year, Portland and Multnomah County will have 1,100 fewer shelter beds due to budget cuts necessitating the closure of 11 facilities.
