ODFW release - Columbia River subarea (Leadbetter Pt., WA to Cape Falcon, OR): Anglers have the opportunity to harvest Pacific halibut at all-depths seven days per week August 8 through September 30 or until quota is attained. The daily bag limit is one Pacific halibut. This subarea has about 39% of the allocation remaining as of July 26. Central Oregon Coast subarea (Cape Falcon to Humbug Mt.): The Central Oregon Coast subarea summer all-depth fishery remains open seven days per week until October 31 or until quota is attained. The daily bag limit is two Pacific halibut. This subarea has a about 68% of the allocation remaining as of July 26. Southern Oregon subarea (Humbug Mt. to OR/CA border): The all-depth halibut fishery remains open seven days per week until October 31 or until quota is attained. The daily bag limit is two Pacific halibut. This subarea has about 90% of the allocation remaining as of July 26.
