Description

Amazon has paid more than $100 million to buy internet services for its data centers from a Morrow County firm owned by former public officials. In their public roles , four of those owners awarded Amazon more than $400 million in tax breaks.

Four public officials, three other civic leaders, one company and one nonprofit are facing civil charges related to Amazon’s huge cluster of data centers in tiny Morrow County (population: 12,000).
