Like many people from past generations, Rick Stillwagon grew up learning basic crafts from his family. One grandfather taught him to use hand tools, the other, geometric triangles for building strong structures. From his mother, he learned sewing and ceramics. So when the self-described tinkerer realized that the Coos County area has a significant shortage of people who also possess those skills, he decided to do something about it.
