A Minnesota assisted living facility has been cited for neglect after state investigators concluded a resident became dangerously intoxicated before a scheduled medical appointment, prompting emergency treatment and renewed scrutiny of the home’s practices for residents with substance use disorders. The facility disputes the findings and says its approach is designed to support residents with severe addictions while respecting their legal rights, Fox 9 reported.
