Warrenton's Jayden Warner, middle, stands on the podium with the other Class 3A cross country medalists after their state championship race on Saturday, Nov. 8, 2025 at Lane Community College.

In a cross country state championship meet that features an upset of the reigning Class 6A state champion and a coronation of a new ringleader at one of the state’s best programs, it was Warrenton’s Jayden Warner that truly walked away with the biggest feat of the day.
