A good reminder for Lincoln City community members and visitors. The Lincoln City Police Department WILL be conducting their normal tsunami siren test between the hours of 11:00am and 12:30pm. This is their usual Wednesday test, and the siren will only sound for a short time. Please do not contact the Lincoln City Police Dispatch Center if you hear a siren during this time. As of this morning, July 30, 2025, the distant tsunami advisory remains in effect. This means you need to stay out of the water, off the beach, and away from harbors, marinas, breakwaters, bays and inlets.
