Nearly 50 years after a New York teenager was killed while visiting San Francisco, a Colorado man has been sentenced to life in prison in one of California’s longest-running cold case murder investigations. The case was solved through advances in DNA testing and investigative genealogy, giving the victim’s family long-awaited answers, CBS News said.
