A day spent exploring, learning, and connecting with the people who help bring Albany and Linn County to life. With our amazing volunteers and good friends, we toured Knife River Training Center and stepped inside the impressive heavy equipment dome. From there, we experienced Thompson’s Mills in Shedd and shared a table at Sybaris Bistro. We also toured the historic Monteith House, ate popcorn at the Pix Theatre, and visited the Albany Civic Theater, each stop telling a different part of Albany’s story. It is a reminder that the best way to share a place is to experience it together.
