Description

Jack Strong hiked 30 miles across Mount Hood in an attempt to reach his family, who were staying in a cabin at Paradise Park.

Jack Strong said he was never scared, not really. He cried for the first 15 minutes after realizing he was really, truly lost in the Mount Hood wilderness, but after that he figured there was no use in crying. Tears would just make it harder to find his way back home.
