Description

West Linn plans to develop a 40,000-sq.-ft. public works complex on this parcel of land it bought from the state Department of Transportation. The location was the site of a devastating landslide in 1969 during excavation for Interstate 205.

The landslide ruined one house, a second house and then a third. It damaged a reservoir and forced residents to ration water for several months.
