The OSAA OnPoint Community Credit Union 3A Boys’ & Girls’ State Basketball Tournaments return to the Bay Area March 6-8 with eight of the best girls’ and boys’ teams from around Oregon vying for that Blue Trophy. First round quarterfinal games will take place at both Marshfield and North Bend high schools, Thursday, March 6.  Some of the 3A teams in the running, have two to six games remaining on their regular season schedules.  Some will wrap up this weekend, while others play right up to the OSAA freeze date, Saturday night, Feb. 22, 10 p.m.  There are seven 3A league under the OSAA membership.  Current girl’s contenders:  Lewis & Clark Lg. - Valley Catholic (11-0, 16-6), Oregon Episcopal (8-2, 14-6, Westside Christian (7-3, 8-12).  Coastal Range Lg. - Banks (11-0, 20-3), Corbett (7-2, 13-5), Yamhill-Carlton (7-3, 13-5).  Pac-West Conf. - Amity (14-0, 22-0), Jefferson (23-2, 28-4), Taft (10-4, 16-5).  Mtn.
