Whoever wins the Democratic primary race to succeed longtime U.S. Rep. Earl Blumenauer in Congress is a shoo-in to win the fall contest. Eddy Morales, right to left, Michael Jonas, Susheela Jayapal and Maxine Dexter are seeking the party's nomination for Oregon's 3rd Congressional District.

The trio of progressive Portland-area Democrats leading the race to succeed U.S. Rep. Earl Blumenauer in Congress are barely distinguishable from each other when it comes to policy positions.
