Hillsboro City Councilor Kipperlyn Sinclair (left), the city's Public Works Budget and Finance Manager Anthony Martin (center), and its former Mayor Steve Callaway (right) are all competing to fill an open seat on the Washington County Commission. Ayla Hofler, Kimberly Culbertson and Paul Schaefer are also in the race.

The race to represent Washington County’s largest district has shaped up to be its most crowded. Six candidates have thrown their hats in the ring, attracting experienced politicians and newcomers alike.
