2025 was another exciting year for your Lincoln County Animal Shelter Team. Animal Care Specialists provided excellent care to nearly 380 animals, with an average length of stay being ten days. Lincoln County Animal Shelter was officially recognized as a “No Kill” animal shelter by the Best Friends Animal Society (BFAS). Though we have been operating under the philosophy of “no-kill” for many years, the official recognition by BFAS means we have access to more grants and support from BFAS to further our mission of saving lives.
