A memorial for Ava Crews at the Scappoose High School included photos, flowers and candles. She died May 18, 2025, in a UTV crash on Sauvie Island.

An 18-year-old who killed a 17-year-old girl in a UTV accident on May 18 pleaded guilty to criminally negligent homicide in Multnomah County Circuit Court last week.
