The products were sold nationwide by major retailers including The Home Depot, Lowes and online at Amazon.com. Consumers are urged to immediately stop using the products and contact the manufacturer for a repair kit.

More than 1.7 million attic ladders sold at major retailers nationwide have been recalled after several reports of the ladder breaking, resulting in at least one consumer sustaining neck, head and back injuries.
