Description

Pods like this one will close soon and the staff that helps manage them are likely to lose their jobs in the process. (There is no information at this time indicating St. Johns Village is on the list of potential closures.)

Sunstone Way, a nonprofit operating six homeless shelters in and near Portland, will lay off 175 people when it closes at the end of June, according to a notice issued Wednesday by Oregon’s dislocated worker unit.
