Southern Coos Hospital & Health Center has an opening for a full-time MRI - CT - X-Ray Tech. This position is a multi-modality position that oversees and manages the quality control of the MRI department and assists in QC for CT as well as performing exams in the three modalities they are registered in. Performs imaging procedures according to physician’s orders, utilizing knowledge and judgment in regard to exposure factors, department protocols, imaging techniques, and patient care. This position is responsible to perform MRI, CT, and X-ray exams and reports directly to the Medical Imaging Manager.

A sign-on incentive is available for up to $5,000.00

Skills, Knowledge, & Experience Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Graduated from a certified Radiologic Technology School or program.
  • Maintains applicable state licensure (OBMI) as well as in the national registry (ARRT) in Radiography (R), Computed Tomography (CT), and MRI. Advanced modality registration with ARRT (or another approved entity) is required or if proof of registration is not received within one year of assuming the non-certified modality position; the position will be vacated by the incumbent.
  • Have and maintain BLS/CPR Certification.
  • Two years of experience in the appropriate field of Imaging is preferred.
  • Experience with Radiology Information Systems, PACS, and electronic medical records.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a drive to provide exceptional service.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication, organizational skills, and computer proficiency specifically in Microsoft Office and online software.

This is a Full-Time position that is eligible for benefits. *SCHHC pays the full employee-only amount for health, dental, and vision insurance.*

Employment with Southern Coos Hospital is contingent upon an acceptable pre-employment drug screening and background check.
