Great opportunity for new CDL drivers! This position is located in Coos Bay. The route starts in Brookings, Oregon and ends in Saginaw, Oregon.

REQUIREMENTS:

* Valid CDL with Doubles Endorsement.

* Valid DOT Medical Card

* At least one (1) year commercial driving experience.

* Clean driving record.

* Ability to operate communications equipment or systems.

JOB DUTIES:

* Performing pre- and post-trip vehicle inspection reports

* Performing daily maintenance of truck (refueling, cleaning, etc.)

* Ensuring any mechanical issues with the vehicle are corrected before driving

* Report vehicle or equipment malfunctions.

* Load shipments, belongings, or materials when necessary.

* Read maps to determine routes and adjust when needed.

* Obeying and following applicable traffic laws

* Maintaining a detailed log of working hours in compliance with state and federal regulations.

* Report accidents and violations when applicable

* Able to throw straps and secure load.

* Perform other duties as assigned

HOURS:

Monday - Friday - hours may vary.

PAY:

23% of load - approximately $200 - $280 per load.

If wait time is over an hour while waiting to load or off load, there is a $20 per hour differential.

Coos Bay, Oregon
