Description
The Standard has long been committed to supporting organizations that make a
positive difference in the community. For more than a decade, The Standard’s
Volunteer Expo — Oregon’s largest and longest-running volunteer event — has
provided ways for volunteers and nonprofits to connect.
On Thursday, Sept. 4, the Volunteer Expo returns to Pioneer Courthouse Square in Portland, gathering more than 100 nonprofits in one place to help Oregonians discover volunteer and donation opportunities that fit their skills and interests.
From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., attendees can meet with and learn about nonprofits and options to volunteer online or in person for all ages, abilities and interests.
Participating organizations represent a wide variety of focus areas including arts,
culture, humanities, the environment, animal welfare, health, human services and more.Whether you're looking for a one-time volunteer opportunity or a longer-term commitment, you can connect with nonprofits and start making a difference.
