VegFest Returns: Celebrating 20 Years of Northwest VEG at The Compassionate Living Festival
Join us for a day of compassion, community, and celebration!
Portland, Oregon — After a five-year hiatus, VegFest is back, celebrating the 20th anniversary of Northwest VEG with The Compassionate Living Festival! Join us on September 28, 2024, from 12 PM to 6 PM at Norse Hall (111 NE 11th Avenue, Portland, OR 97232).
This vibrant festival celebrates 20 years of Northwest VEG, a non-profit committed to educating and inspiring individuals to embrace a vegan lifestyle for the health of people, the planet, and animals. All proceeds will support Northwest VEG in its ongoing mission.
Tickets:
Adults (ages 11+): $20
Kids (ages 10 and under): $1
Membership Package: $40 (includes 1-year NW VEG membership + 1 adult ticket)

What to Expect:
Culinary Delights: Sample and indulge in delicious offerings from a diverse lineup of vegan food and drink vendors, including Prime Roots, Obon Shokudo, Camellia Pistrina, Cultured Kindness, Chicharronies, Kakaiba Bakery, The Better Bar, Tomomochi, Buttah!, and Vtopian Artisan Cheeses.
Vendors and Activities: Explore an array of artisanal crafts, including candles, soap, jewelry, hand-dyed yarn, and more. Enjoy children’s activities organized by The Vegan Scouts and be sure to stop by our Plantnim Sponsor’s booth, Dill Ward Group.

Panel Discussion:
Featuring Chelsea V Davis, founder of Veggies Do It Better Events and the Vegan Night Market (the largest vegan festival in the PNW), and Eunice Reyes, founder of Rated V for Vegan. The panel will address ways to support our vegan community through dining, travel, budgeting, and eco-friendly choices.
The event is presented in partnership with Veggies Do It Better Events and is dedicated to promoting and uplifting BIPOC, AANHPI, LGBTQIA+, and women’s voices.
