Description
Open November 29th - December 29th, 2024, nightly 5-9pm. Brookings’ Festival of Lights is a cherished holiday tradition that has delighted visitors and locals for over 25 years. Each year, Azalea Park transforms into a winter wonderland with three million lights, the largest holiday light display on the Oregon coast. Last year's event drew 30,000 holiday visitors, all eager to experience the magic. The festival features unique coastal displays, including illuminated jellyfish, crabs, fish, octopuses, beach scenes, and a fishing boat floating on a sea of blue lights. Take a leisurely stroll along Candy Cane Lane to the gazebo for a breathtaking panoramic view of the display. This family-friendly event is affordable (kids 12 and under are free) and brimming with seasonal cheer. Volunteers serve cookies, cocoa, and cider, and children are thrilled by special appearances from Santa, Mrs. Claus, and Elsa from “Frozen.”
