See Portland’s clean energy story on the big screen at Mission Theater. Grassroots to the Grid, a locally produced documentary from Community Energy Project, explores Portland’s clean energy history and transition through the voices of community members and organizations working toward a more equitable energy future.The film looks at the progress being made, the barriers that continue to prevent frontline communities from fully benefiting from the clean energy transition, and the people working to change that. Following the screening, guests are invited to stay for a community conversation about the issues raised in the film and what it will take to build a cleaner, healthier and more equitable energy future.Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and the screening begins at 6 p.m. All ages. Tickets are $15 in advance or $20 at the door.
